The HobbyPlus CR18P V3 Rushmore 1/18 Brushless RTR Micro Rock Crawler is a highly capable and meticulously engineered rock crawler that brings big performance in a compact size. At the heart of this crawler is a Hobbywing brushless power system, featuring a 1621 outrunner brushless motor that is purpose-built for rock crawling. This motor delivers exceptional low-end torque and precise throttle modulation, making it ideal for tackling steep inclines and technical terrain. Paired with a waterproof Mini 24 Brushless ESC, the CR18P V3 supports 2S and 3S LiPo operation, offering outstanding control and efficiency.
The ESC is also programmable with the Hobbywing Program Card (sold separately), allowing users to fine-tune settings such as throttle response, braking, and drag brake, ensuring optimal performance across different terrains. By integrating this advanced brushless system with a single-speed EVO transmission, HobbyPlus has eliminated the need for a shift servo, effectively reducing weight while enhancing durability and reliability. Chassis and Drivetrain
Designed with performance-driven engineering, the CR18P V3 Rushmore features a lightweight LCG (Low Center of Gravity) body, which enhances stability and overall balance when navigating rough terrain. The chassis benefits from a servo-on-axle (SOA) steering design, which significantly lowers the center of gravity while improving steering precision. Additionally, counter-rotating center driveshafts effectively minimize torque twist, ensuring that the vehicle remains stable and predictable even during extreme crawling maneuvers.
The portal axles further enhance the truck’s off-road prowess by increasing ground clearance, allowing it to conquer larger obstacles without scraping the undercarriage. A +10mm wider stance, achieved through upgraded stub axles, provides a more planted and stable footprint, reducing the risk of rollovers on uneven terrain.
